Adam Comrie passed away

The 30 years old Canadian/American defenseman, Adam Comrie suffered a fatal motorbike accident in Virginia near his mother's residence, in the beginning of August, 2020. The hockey player was drafted by Florida in 2008 after 2 successful seasons in the OHL team Saginaw Spirit. In the next 10 years, he has been simultaneously playing in both the ECHL and AHL leagues in the USA but unfortunately he never made it to the NHL. Lucky for us, he moved to Europe two years ago where he joined the ICEHL team of Klagenfurt. He quickly became the backbone of the EBEL team and took a massive part in pushing KAC to playoffs and ultimately winning the championship in 2018/19 season while scoring the winning goal against the Vienna Capitals in the final game. In the same season he also earned the best plus/minus score in the league (+14). Rest in peace our brother, you will be truly missed around the world.
